Ich fotografiere seit über 20 Jahren. In meiner Motivwahl bevorzuge ich die Abwesenheit des Menschen, stattdessen aber sein Werk oder die Natur.
Besonders faszinieren mich die Schnelllebigkeit der Gesellschaft sowie deren Veränderung, Werteverfall.
Dinge, die gestern noch teuer und wertvoll waren, sind heute nur noch wertloser Abfall.

Im Jahre 2010 gründete ich meinen eigenen Verlag: Edition Einblick
Pseudonym
Ich überlegte eine Zeit lang, ob ich mir ein Pseudonym geben sollte. Harry Paul Hoffmann und Rocky Placebo sind leider schon vergeben. In Frage kamen noch Romano Aisbain, Rodriguez Knöpermann de l’Aisbain oder Lemmy Krause. Ich entschied mich schließlich für "Thorsten Müller", weil ich erstens so heiße und es zweitens ähnlich einprägsam finde wie Helmut Schmidt oder Klaus Schulze.

I have photographed for over 20 years.
I prefer to shoot the product of man’s creation or nature in itself instead of people. I am especially fascinated in the fast-paced development of society and its changes as well as its devaluation. Objects which in the past were once expensive, are todays worthless rubbish.
Pseudonym
I was considering for a while if I should give myself a pseudonym. Unfortunately, Harry Paul Hoffmann and Rocky Placebo do already exist. Romano Aisbain, Rodriguez Knöpermann de l'Aisbain or Lemmy Krause also came into consideration. Eventually, I went for Thorsten Müller: First of all, because that's my actual name, and secondly, it seems to me likewise memorable as Helmut Schmidt or Klaus Schulze.

Je photographie depuis plus de 20 ans. Dans le choix de mes motifs, je préfère l´absence de l´homme en faveur de son oeuvre ou de la nature. Je suis particulièrement fasciné par le rythme de plus en plus rapide de la vie en société, de ses transformations et de ses pertes de valeurs. Les choses qui , hier, avaient de la valeur n´en ont aujourd´hui plus du tout.

Pseudonyme
J´ai longtemps réflêchi , si je devais me donner un pseudonyme. Harry Paul Hoffman et Rocky Placebo sont malheureusement déjà utilisés. J´avais aussi en tête Romano Aisbain, Rodriguez Knöpermann de l’Aisbain ou Lemmy Krause. Mon choix final s’est porté sur mon veritable nom Thorsten Müller, car c’ est aussi marquant que Helmut Schmidt ou Klaus Schulze.
